Dr. Freddie Ssengooba

Dr. Freddie Ssengooba Center Director and Lead Consultant. He is a professor of health economics and health systems management with more than 25 years’ experience in East and Southern African countries. He is specialized in Public Health Policy and management of Health Systems with several successfully completed consultancy and research projects. He has led a 5-year program for applied policy for universal health coverage. He regularly provides technical support to large donor programme, like the World Bank, WHO, Enabel and USAID. He has recently completed several political economy studies – for national health Insurance, digital health, and health systems strengthening for clients like UNICEF and Palladium-Uganda programs.
