Dr. Vincent Oketcho is a seasoned Health Systems and public health expert, with over 20 years work experience in Africa. He brings a wealth of experience as a health systems and public health expert based on his experience working at various levels of the health system in different capacities both government and international organizations in Uganda, Kenya, and elsewhere.

Dr Oketcho has spearheaded the implementation of several HRH and public health projects funded by among others, PEPFAR, USAID, The European Union, Ireland Aid, and the Canadian International Development Aid. As an HRH expert, Dr Oketcho has led many HRH innovations and interventions including: supporting the development of Uganda’s first HRH policy and strategic plan, establishment and national rollout of the integrated human resource information system (iHRIS).
